I will be bringing my CPAP. Is distilled water available on the ship? If not can I bring my own?

I use a cpap and last year I was told I could not bring distilled water I was told by NCL that they will provide the distilled water. I called 2 weeks before we sailed and the gallon of distilled water was in our room along with a needle dispenser since I am a diabetic.

For the Haven suites, are you supposed to tip the butler & concierge or is that included with the other prepaid service charges?

Well - personally I gave the Butler $20 per night I was on board because I felt he deserved extra and he was attentive and awesome.

Check the deck plan and you should be able to find your stateroom on the deck. You'll be able to see if it is a balcony or not and also view the floor plan for your room.

Room upgrade

Once on board, if there are better rooms available, is it possible to upgrade the room?

We recently did a bid on a room upgrade on the Pearl. We went from a Deck 11 inside room to a Deck 4 (almost at sea level) porthole room. The view was neat and the natural light was nice, but we must have been close to the engine because it was LOUD. We were also only 2 doors down from where we got on and off at ports of call, so it got crowded. The Epic seems to have only balconies or inside rooms, though, and no staterooms below Deck 8. But I think with the bidding program, you are taking your chances at getting an obstructed view or a room on a lower deck. So just keep that in mind if you choose to bid on an upgrade.

Looking for prices and possibly group rates want to get as much site seeing as possibly beings were coming from the states

The NCL website lists a wide selection of tours for most ports of call. Click on "Get Ready for Your Cruise" then go to "Shore Excursions" to see what is available. There also may be tours available from independent tour providers. You can search for them on the internet or get information from a travel agent.

We have been assigned cabin 9009, any chance of being moved toward the aft?

I have some difficulty walking and as I remember, the restaurants are toward the aft. What are the chances of being moved further aft. I have put in a bid for a mini-suite as well. Thank You Montgomery Gearhart

Since you already have a reservation, any changes will have to be done through your travel agent or NCL sales rep. Depending on the location of the room you want, there may be a small additional charge for the room.

when your room on EPIC states BA 2 lower beds but no mention of moving to a queen, what does that mean?

The beds are full sized beds that are pushed together to make a queen sized bed. Every time we have traveled (Mr & Mrs), they have had the beds already combined with queen sized bed sheets and blankets. If the bed hasn't been combined, you can ask the cabin steward to push the beds into a queen sized bed. They will bring the queen sized blankets to fit the bed.
