Asked by: DELLE
Yes, each stateroom is equipped with a hairdryer. They usually are hardwired at the dressing table, meaning you would not be able to unplug them to use them at another location in the room.

where are solo cruise staterooms

can i book a solo next to a couples stateroom, with access between the two?
Asked by: Underdogg
I'm sorry that you did not find my previous answer to be helpful, but unfortunately none of the rooms on the Escape which are designed for solo guests are connected to any room types which are built for multiple occupants. If your goal is to have a connecting door between two adjacent rooms, with at least one of them occupied by two or more guests, your only option is for each of the rooms to be Balcony, Suite, or Haven staterooms. You can identify the rooms with a connecting door between them by the double-ended arrows between the rooms on the Deck Plans. There are more than a hundred connecting rooms on the Escape, with some located on each of the upper decks. Unfortunately, you likely would be required to pay an additional fee for solo occupancy of a room designed for two passengers. An alternative would be to book a Studio stateroom on Deck 10, 11, or 12 for yourself, then have your traveling companions reserve a nearby Inside or Balcony stateroom.

Are there laundry facilities on board for guests? If not what are laundry costs?

Asked by: JasmineS
No facilities. You can have your laundry sent out like on land or use the half way cruise special and fill the laundry paper bag in your cabin. Clothes will come back to your cabin all folded and in a wicker basket. At least that's how it was done a few years ago.

Is there a refrigerator in a balcony room?

Asked by: Froukje
Yes. It will be a mini refrigerator partially filled with extra-charge mini bar beverages (which you can remove). It is not as cold as a regular refrigerator and does not have a freezer, but can be useful for storing medications or keeping leftovers fresh.

What is the difference between levels MA & MB?

Asked by: Alcarney
Location and price. There are several subcategories for each category of stateroom. The subcategories designate the relative price of the room based upon its location and perceived desirability. The first letter designates the room type (Balcony, Suite, etc.), while the second number or letter indicates the subcategory. Generally the lower the number or letter of the subcategory designation, the more expensive the room. The MA staterooms usually would command a higher price than the MB rooms, for example. The rooms may be exactly the same size, or there may be some differences in size or amenities. The principal difference, though, is the desirability of the room's location.
