Haven 14500: Where do the 7th and 8th guests sleep?

We're traveling as a group of 6, but we are not three couples. Looking at the floor plan, I can see the three bedrooms, each with a bed for two, but this cabin allegedly sleeps up to 8, and I can't see where the 7th and 8th guests would sleep. On sofas in the main room? Thanks.
Asked by: Delamaine
I was in the 3 BR villas several years ago with my adult children and their friends (not couples). Adult children do not want to sleep together and we did not want them in our bedroom (the big one with the pull out couch), so NCL steward put cots in the main room for 2 20+yo boys, the girls shared the room with the pull out chair and another cot was put in the bedroom without a chair. A bit cramped in the bedrooms but plenty of room in the rest of the suite. As previously stated, the queen size beds do not separate in this suite. This is a great cabin choice, we had a wonderful time and would do it again.

On my next cruise on the Gem I will have a Ocean View Porthole room. Do these rooms come with a coffee maker?

Asked by: niftypoppy
They don't, but you can get free breakfast room-service for your morning coffee. Nothing quite like having somebody else make your coffee and bring it (plus some pastries and fruit) to your door!

what is a privasea in the balcony room

Asked by: mattramos
If you look at the photo of the Gem you can see that the first three or four balconies near the front on several decks have smaller openings that the rest of the balconies. The hull forms a frame around the opening for those balconies to reduce the effect of wind and sea spray, which is more prevalent at the front of the ship. NCL calls these Privasea balconies.

I'm afraid of getting sea sick. What will work to avoid terrible sea sick on board?

Boston to Bermuda, Gem
Asked by: Nahoko
ask the cabin steward or someone from the wait staff for a slice of green apple and some ginger ale. this should calm you down. also there are wrist bands available to help relive sea sickness, ask you local pharmacist where they can be found, and there are also patches available to tape behind your ear

I’ve purchased the UBP and would like to know if specialty coffees (cappuccino/lattes) are included.

Will there be Easter Sunday religious service on the Bermuda 4/19 sailing?

Asked by: Alleluia
No. NCL doesn't sponsor any kind of religious services onboard their ship. However, if there is a priest travelling as a passenger, they are allowed to conduct religious ceremonies onboard the ship.
