room 10546 + category b4 gem

room 10546 + category b4 ... what does plus mean? and what does b4... mean ?
Asked by: Anonymous
The plus (+) next to the room number means it holds 4 guests in the cabin. B4 is a Family Cabin. That's the name for that category room.

On the Norwegian Gem cruise ship, how often does your room get fresh towels and how often is the trash removed?

Asked by: myquestion
Your stateroom attendant will provide morning and evening service to your room. Trash will be removed each time, and towels which have been used will be replaced at those times.

Do Club balcony suites include private breakfast?

Asked by: NanaN
Club Balcony Suite is the new designation for rooms which NCL previously referred to as Mini Suites. Terms and conditions may change once NCL resumes cruising, but prior to the suspension of cruises, passengers in Mini Suites were not afforded the same benefits as those in Suites or the Haven. Assuming that NCL maintains the same practice for Club Balcony Suites that they had for Mini Suites, unfortunately private dining will not be included for this room category.

Is there any type of beverage service (waiter) at Gem Haven Pool?

Asked by: Anonymous
There is a steward assigned to the Haven courtyard, from breakfast hours through late afternoon. There is no one there afterwards. The steward can bring breakfast, lunch and drinks. Bear in mind that the restaurant & service bar are at least a deck below, depending on operating hours, and service might be a bit slower that you might otherwise expect.

The Norwegian Gem does not have a bowling alley. The only ships that have a bowling alley are N. Breakaway, N. Epic, N. Escape, N. Getaway, and N. Pearl.

How do I get scotch in my cabin?

As many people do, I like to have a drink while getting ready for dinner, etc. However, I know that I can't bring liquor onto the ship nor can I buy it on the ship for my cabin. (We have the Free at Sea package.) It seems very cumbersome. (We are first-time cruisers.)
Asked by: CPRob
I would pick up a drink at a bar and take it to my cabin, or pick up one without ice and have it whenever you care to.

Do you serve Vegan meals?

Asked by: HealthyGal
Vegetable meals are available in each restaurant on the ship, but they are not truly vegan. They may contain dairy or animal byproducts, and they are prepared in the same kitchen as other non-vegan meals. If you have dietary restrictions, you should contact NCL by telephone at least a month before your cruise to communicate your needs, then speak to someone at the Dining Reservations Desk on your first day on board to ensure that your request has been handled properly. Do you have to purchase “Priority Check In” if you’re a “GOLD” Latitudes member?

I was under the impression that as a “GOLD” member, you’re automatically entitled to priority check in??
Asked by: MKD23
No additional purchase is required to access the priority check-in lanes at the cruise terminal. When you enter the arrivals hall, look for signage designating your Latitudes status and proceed to that line. Depending upon the size of the terminal and the size of the ship, there will be several check-in lines. The longest and slowest line is for first-timers, those who are not members of the Latitudes program. The lines for Bronze, Silver, and Gold members may be combined if there only are a few of those passengers, or they may be separate. The Platinum and Platinum Plus members frequently have a line dedicated to serve them, while Ambassador members and those traveling in a Suite or in the Haven will have the highest priority check-in. Just look for your category and bypass the longer lines.
