Is there a Cocktail lounge and restaurant that is exclusively for The Haven on the Gem?

The last time I was on the Gem there were 2 restaurants exclusively for Suite and Haven guests. Breakfast was in Moderno Churrascaria and lunch was in Cagney's Steakhouse.There was no special cocktail lounge.lounge. My last trip was pre-pandemic.

Where do haven guests have dinner?

The Gem does not have a Haven restaurant. You would have to dine in the main dining room or one of the speciality restaurants. Haven and Suite guests do have the option of dining for breakfast and lunch a specialty restaurant (it was Moderno for breakfast and Cagney's for lunch when I went).

Starbucks is not included in the adult beverage package, however there is a Starbucks package available for purchase.

Are there hair dryers in all the rooms?

Yes, every room is equipped with a hair dryer. They are usually not in the bathrooms, but just outside in the living area.

Where are the luggage tags?

Some people have gotten them in the mail. I got them in the mail for my cruise on the Gem in Oct 2021. But I did not get any for my cruise in April 2022. When you finish online check-in, you will be able to download your e-docs. There will be a link in your e-docs that will allow you to print the luggage tags. Good luck!!

Day passes are often available, but not guaranteed. They will always be available on port days. You'll have to check at the spa desk for price - it's variable and never published.

With the specialty dinners, if you buy them is there any other cost? I seen something about a cover and $59 charge.

If you buy (or get a "free at sea") speciality dining package, you will have to pay for gratuities on it. You normally get one (or more) appetizers, one main course, multiple sides, and dessert. Cover and other charges are for patrons who don't purchase a package and are paying to dine there.

Is there a public sundeck?

Is there a place to relax and stare at the ocean? We have an interior room. Is there a public space with lounge chairs to watch the ocean go by? Looking at the ship layout, all the public spaces seem to be dedicated to an activity (dance/club, running track, etc) but I don't see a basic sun deck...

What you're looking for is on Deck 14, forward. There are also deck chairs on Deck 7 and on Deck 13 above the pool, but there's a lot of foot traffic in those spots. Check out the Deck Plans at the link above.
