is there a special dining room for suite cruisers?

Asked by: gigigi
some of the ncl ships that have not as yet upgraded to haven suites, but still have "suites" allow you to eat at either cagneys or moderno for breakfast or lunch. this is actually equivalent to the haven dining room. a few years back, we booked a suite on the spirit and ate breakfast at cagneys. the services of an on call butler and concierge remain the same if you have booked a suite. if the ship has both a haven category and a suite, i havebeen advised that the only difference is you cannot use the haven pool or the bar

How early can I drop my luggage off on embarkation day?

My hotel check out time is 10a. I'd like to drop off my luggage shorty after checking out. I would be boarding 4 hours later.
Asked by: DMC1955
The check-in process usually starts at around 11 AM. You can drop your bags about 10 AM. However, you must complete the check-in process and board the ship by 2 PM.

my room has 2 beds that can be made into one. Do I have to push them together or can it be done for me?

inside cabin
Asked by: Teesa30
The beds are full sized beds that are pushed together to make a queen sized bed. Every time we have traveled (Mr & Mrs), they have had the beds already combined with queen sized bed sheets and blankets. If the bed hasn't been combined, you can ask the cabin steward to push the beds into a queen sized bed. They will bring the queen sized blankets to fit the bed.

If complimentary entertainment is booked online, are you guaranteed seats? Are seats assigned?

Asked by: benkon
There are no assigned seats. Seating is on a first come first serve basis. If you want good seats, you still have to go early even with a reservation. If you don't have a reservation, you can still get seats but it may not be the best seats.

who is amit and why is he or she always the #1contributor no matter which ask and answer ship

Asked by: complawyer
Thanks to TravelingMan for answering the question so eloquently. I'm not an employee and I haven't benefited from answering the Q&A in any way. I cruise on NCL frequently and answering the questions has increased my own knowledge about cruising. In my free time, I answer questions in this Q&A forum.

What is the age requirement for drinking alcoholic beverages in international waters?

Asked by: marywolf123
You have to be 21+ to drink on the ship. Guests 18-21 can drink beer & alcohol when in international waters with a parental waiver. Here is NCL's policy https://www.ncl.com/faq#what-minimum-age-purchase-andor-consumption-alcoholic-beverages https://www.ncl.com/faq/guest-conduct-policy

on the ncl getaway are the mini fridges stocked or empty?

Asked by: tashabella
always stocked, but remember, the goodies are all an extra charge. i usually have the cabin steward empty the fridge as soon as i get in the cabin. this avoids any temptation and extra charges at the end of the cruise. if you want the goodies, whatever you take out is replaced daily by your steward
