How much Baggage?

I understand we can bring one piece of luggage and one carry on. What about a personal bag? (i.e. a purse or small backpack) Also I need to bring my CPAP machine and it's in it's own laptop sized bag. So, can I bring the one piece of luggage, one carry on, one purse or backpack and my CPAP machine?
Asked by: CarDoc
Generally, medical devices don't count against any baggage limit as long as the bag is marked as medical equipment and there are no stray items in the CPAP bag.

do you need to make reservations for shows and the main dining rooms

Asked by: droid
It's a good idea to make reservations for shows, but it is not mandatory and there usually are some seats available for last minute arrivals. To avoid being shut out or getting a seat with a poor view, though, it's better to reserve in advance. You can begin making reservations 90 days prior to your sailing date, or 100 days in advance if you are booked in a Suite or the Haven. It is possible to make reservations for the main dining rooms, but it usually is not necessary. The MDRs seem to ignore reservations and simply seat guests in the order of their arrival at the restaurant. Except at peak service hours, however, there usually is very little wait.

What can we watch on the TV?

Does the tv come with a dvd player, and if not what can we watch on it for free?
Asked by: sbump
DVD players are only available in suites and Haven category of staterooms. A regular stateroom doesn't have a DVD players and the TVs don't have any input terminal for you to connect any external device.

Can I bring unopened alcoholic beverages?

Asked by: kidder168
You are only allowed to bring wine and champagne bottles onboard the ship after paying a corkage fee. Hard liquors are not allowed. If you purchase liquor at port, they will confiscate the item when you get onboard the ship. The item will be returned to you on the last day of your cruise.

Is there a formal night on the Breakaway voyage on the Baltic in June?

Asked by: Gorman428
You are cruising Freestyle. Formal clothes are not required on NCL. You can wear "smart casual" clothes to the specialty dining rooms and the main dining rooms. There are no formal nights but they do have "Dress up or not" nights where formals are suggested (but not required). However, if you plan to have family portraits taken with the Captain, formals would be nice.

I am very worried about having room 14158 Spa Mini Suite since it is one floor right below the pool.

I will not be happy at all if I hear a lot of noise because I am a very light sleeper. I want to be moved is this is going to be a problem!!!! I also need 2 passes to Vibe Beach Club for the week on the ship how can I get them and how much?
Asked by: t6618dk
You are asking in the wrong place and need to contact NCL directly

Our cruise next May 2019 has a stop in Hellesylk, Norway for a hour, why just a hour.

Reviewing the itinerary for our cruise next May 2019 from CPH has a stop in Hellesylk, Norway for an 1 hour. After Hellesylk the ship sails to Geiranger, Norway. Arrives at 10:30am and departs at 5pm; so doesn't appear to be a mistake. Any answers??
Asked by: MCPOE9RET
This is a short stop to let guest off that purchased an excursion that takes you back to the boat in Geiranger about 1 hr before departing.. you will not be allowed to exit boat without ship excursion..

On the Getaway, what deck has the running or jogging track and is the fitness center free or do you have to purchase passes?

Asked by: ChrisGrissom70
It's on the upper deck, (15 or 16?) and it's very tiny. There are 8 laps to a mile and maybe 1/3 of it goes through pool chairs. If you really want to use it your best option is early am. The fitness center (which does have treadmills, etc) is free though classes often have an extra fee

120 minutes of ship to shore phone service

We are booked on the Getaway next May 2019 out of Copenhagen and one of the offers we have is 120 minutes of ship to shore phone service. Can anyone enlighten me as to what and how does this service work? Can you use your cell phone or do you need to use a ship's phone?
Asked by: MCPOE9RET
You will have to use the phone in your stateroom to make the calls. The free minutes plan doesn't apply to your cell phone. Your cell phones will work while you are at sea. The ship has a tower and it uses satellite communication to make the connection. The satellite companies will bill your cell phone company and they will in turn bill you. The free minutes cannot be used for cell phone calls.
