How is the Mandera Spa facilities on the refurbished Jewel?

How does the Spa on the Jewel compare to other newer shops?

I have cruised on the Norwegian bliss and the Norwegian encore I used the spas on both vessels and the spa on the jewel it's just about the same only a lot smaller the thermal suite is Immaculate

Is there a laundry room/laundry machine to do your own laundry?

I'm not aware of any Norwegian ship that has self-service laundry. But you can always pay them to do yours for you by stuffing what you can into the bag located in the closet. Keep watch out for the "sale day" on laundry pricing.

How does the NCL Jewel Garden Villa accommodate 8 guests?

Haven't booked that particular stateroom, I'm not that wealthy, but from what I know of NCL cabins and the floor plan, I'd say two in each of the three bedrooms, and the living room and/or largest bedroom has a pullout sofa bed for two more.

When passing Glacier Bay and Hubbard Glacier, how can you see it, if there is not an observation lounge?

You have the Spinnaker Lounge on Deck 13 Forward, with windows all around. Of course, there's lots of space outdoors - turn the sun deck into the glacier deck.

NCL is freestyle cruising you can dress up in a tux if you want and a ball gown for the ladies they don't have any so-called formal nights but they do have nights where you dress to impress with photo opportunities throughout the ship enjoy your cruise
