Discover the Dutch Caribbean

Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire & Sint Maarten are all considered part of the "Dutch Caribbean". Many of these islands' residents are Dutch nationals, and Dutch & Papiamentu are the official languages (though most people speak English and Spanish as well). Because of these influences, this region's unique and diverse flavors have made the Southern Caribbean a unique draw. The architectural influences in particular are a striking reminder of these ties. Aruba's Fort Zoutman and Willem III Towers are famous examples of Dutch colonial architecture, while Willemstad, Bonaire, was actually designed to mirror 17th-century Amsterdam. And be sure to get a little "taste of Europe" when you're here with traditional Dutch dishes like Bitterballen (meatballs) and Stroopwafels (waffle cookies).

See St. Lucia's Natural Wonders

From volcanos to rainforests to sky-scraping mountains, St. Lucia is a small island that packs a big ecological punch. Take a catamaran cruise out of Castries Harbor and experience the magnificent Pitons, a UNESCO World Heritage site - twin mountains that are (dormant) volcanic plugs. Turn back the hands of time with a soak in the volcanic mud pool of Sulphur Springs Park, the largest geothermal area in the Lesser Antilles. View the island's lush tropical landscape with a drive along the west coast, then take a cool dip in the cascading Toraille Waterfall. Or zipline through the rainforest and get a view of it all!
