What are Meetings on board a Norwegian Cruise Line ship?
No deadlines, no sales calls, no memos. Is this any way to conduct business? Well - actually, yes. Think of our ships as floating conference centres complete with state of the art auditorium (on some of our ships) and meeting rooms with wi-fi capabilities, multi-image shows, theatrical special effects and more. We have rooms that accommodate large sessions, breakout rooms and hospitality suites of all sizes. Since your associates can't stray too far when they're aboard a ship, you can keep attendance higher and be more productive.

What are Incentives on board a Norwegian Cruise Line ship?
A cruise with Norwegian Cruise Line is like giving your group two holidays in one: the first-class treatment and facilities of a luxury resort, combined with the excitement of travel to exotic destinations. From cocktail parties to award ceremonies, a cruise is a great way to bring colleagues closer together, whilst everyone still has time to themselves. What's more, we've been in the business of planning incentive cruises longer than any other cruise line, so relax: Let us help you achieve success at sea.

What size groups are you prepared to handle?
Depending on the ship you choose, as few as 16 guests or up to a full-ship charter.

What's included in the price?
Your cruise fare includes accommodations, all meals in the main- and buffet restaurants, entertainment and extensive on-board activities as well as meeting rooms incl. equipment.

What's not included?
Service fees, government fees and taxes; alcoholic drinks and drinks (except: coffee, tea, water and iced tea during the meal times), shore excursions; beauty salon and other spa treatments, gift shop purchases, professional photos, internet access, fax and telephone, and any additional incidentals. However, the corporation purchasing the cruise can pre-pay any or all of these costs for your group.

How does the cost compare to a resort?
Many of the services that resorts charge extra for are complimentary aboard our ships: meeting rooms, coffee breaks, meals, afternoon snacks, AV equipment, entertainment, and many daytime activities, to name just a few.

How are private functions handled?
Your group's functions can be held either in public rooms or in private suites. Drinks, hors d'oeuvres and entertainment can be provided at an affordable cost.

How are on-board purchases handled?
You may either set up a master account in advance for your group, or leave it up to individual participants to establish and settle their own accounts.

What about tipping?
SERVICE CHARGE
We are confident that you will enjoy your Freestyle Cruising experience and that our entire crew will provide you with the standard of service for which we are renowned. An optional service charge (currently US $ 13,50 p.p./day in the following categories: Studio, Inside, Oceanview, Balcony & Mini Suite; US $ 15,50 p.p./day in Suites & The Haven Suites) will be automatically added per guest per day (for guests three years and older) to your shipboard account for all staterooms.. This charge will be shared amongst those staff members, including the restaurant staff, stateroom stewards and other behind-the-scenes staff who provide services that enhance your overall cruise experience.The service charge can also be paid in advance of your cruise by contacting your travel agent or our reservations department.
If you have any concerns about the service you receive during your cruise, please let our on-board Guest Services Desk staff know right away, so we can address any issues in a timely manner. In the unlikely event that we cannot satisfactorily resolve an issue through our guest satisfaction programme, guests will be able to adjust the service charge according to the level of inconvenience they feel they have experienced. We do however kindly ask you to grant us an adequate time period in order to correct our services. Our clear priority is to have the opportunity to resolve your issue to your satisfaction as quickly as possible and that any necessary adjustments be made toward that goal.
Where the service charge has been pre-paid before departure, refunds are not available on board and you must apply for a refund, if applicable, after your return home by writing to our Guest Relations Department in Germany. The refund application needs to include a complaint form which needs to be filled out on board during your cruise.

GRATUITIES
Unlike most other ships in the cruise industry, there is no required or recommended tipping on Norwegian Cruise Line ships for services that are generally rendered to all guests. Guests should not feel obliged to offer a gratuity for good service. However, all of our staff are encouraged to 'go the extra mile,' and so they are permitted to accept cash gratuities entirely at the discretion of our guests who wish to acknowledge particular staff members for exceptional or outstanding service. In other words, there is genuinely no need to tip but you should feel free to do so if you have a desire to acknowledge particular individuals.
Also, certain staff positions provide service on an individual basis to only some guests. We encourage those guests to acknowledge good service from these staff members with appropriate gratuities. For example, for guests purchasing bar drinks, the recommended gratuity of 18 % is automatically added to their final bill. Similarly, Pride of America has a service charge of 18 % for all spa and salon services and all other Norwegian Cruise Line ships have an automatic gratuity of 18 % for all spa and salon services.

Will I have access to the internet?
All our ships are equipped with 24 hour Internet Cafés. Wireless internet (also known as WI-Fi) is also available throughout Norwegian Cruise Line 's entire fleet.

Are telephone, internet and fax services available?
Yes, anyone from your group can telephone directly from their stateroom and fax services are available from the ship. The guest will be charged at applicable rates (from US $7,95 per minute). We also have wi-fi and cellular capabilities if you would like to bring your laptop or mobile phone that could be used around the vessel.

Can I use my Mobile Phone ?
Norwegian Cruise Line offers mobile phone service fleet wide. You can make and receive calls as well as send and receive text messages whilst your are at sea - all you need is a tri-band mobile phone. You are billed by your regular mobile phone service provider for roaming services.
