Announcing Norwegian Aqua’s Exciting Dining & Bar Options

The positive response from the rollout of our first two Prima ships – Norwegian Prima & Norwegian Viva, has been nothing short of tremendous. So, our approach to Norwegian Aqua was to introduce some exciting new elements –Thai restaurant Sukhothai, plant-based offering Planterie, and cozy wine bar Swirl; update a few of Prima’s most popular eateries and include those tried-and-true Norwegian Cruise Line classics.

With so many culinary options to choose from, NCL’s Free at Sea program delivers guests more value with vacation enhancing benefits including specialty dining credits, unlimited beverage package, shore excursion credits, Wi-Fi minutes and more. What's New for Norwegian Aqua

Sukhothai

You don’t need to sail around the world to dine around the world. Enter Sukhothai- authentic Thai cuisine served in an inviting atmosphere. Get ready for dishes like Gai Pad King - marinated Ginger Chicken with bell pepper, mushroom, Thai chili, and scallions; Nam Tok charbroiled beef with chilies & lime juice, Thai Cashew Chicken with fresh vegetables, and classics like Papaya Salad, Pad Thai and Thai Curry.

Planterie

Whether you’re vegetarian, pescatarian, or an omnivore, we all need to eat our veggies. And nothing makes healthy foods easier than flavorful and creative options. The newest station at our complimentary Indulge Food Hall is Planterie– serving plant-based dishes like tofu poke bowls and a Mediterranean Goddess Bowl filled with spiced vegetables, tabbouleh and honey-roasted carrots.

Swirl

Send your senses on an exotic journey through vineyards around the world at the cozy wine bar, Swirl. Sip, swoon or simply unwind in this laid-back, intimate space. From smooth reds to light whites to celebration bubbles, Swirl offers first-class varietals from around the world.

Updated Venues on Norwegian Aqua

We’ve enhanced some of the most popular restaurants to offer an innovative – but still familiar – experience aboard Norwegian Aqua.

• Enjoy expanded seating at Hasuki, our beloved Teppanyaki-style restaurant.
• We wouldn’t dare set sail without our signature steakhouse, Cagney’s Steakhouse. This favorite will be elevated with extended seating and all-new décor inspired by 20th-century modernist architecture.
• Our first-ever Mediterranean restaurant, Palomar, debuted on Prima and is back for more – with expanded spaces and updated décor (see more, below).

When & Where to Dine on Norwegian Aqua

Date Night

Step into a scene out of Versailles at Le Bistro, an exquisite French restaurant with floor-to-ceiling chandeliers, posh décor, and delectable fine-dining. While Commodore Room is considered a "Main Dining Room" (i.e. complimentary), it still feels every bit the refined and sophisticated restaurant that it is. The extensive menu - mixing classic favorites with unique new dishes - changes daily, and the décor is as fresh as the food.

Our complimentary Indulge Food Hall first premiered on Prima and has been a huge hit for diners of all ages. Enjoy quick-delivered cuisine from a variety of stations including the aforementioned Planterie, Global foods like Tapas and Indian, as well as fresh salads and sandwiches. Best of all, everyone can order whatever they want from the tableside iPads.

Kids always love Teppanyaki restaurants (let's be honest, so do adults), which allows parents to enjoy the flavors, too. From the new Sukhothai to the fun-filled tables at Hasuki to sushi rolls at Nama, you can't go wrong with these choices.

Large Groups

Explore the flavors of the Med at Norwegian's first-ever Mediterranean restaurant, Palomar. Seafood is the star attraction here, like tuna crudo, grilled octopus, and the unique Thalassini Salata (seafood salad). The large capacity, indoor-outing seating, and breathtaking views ensure a memorable experience for all.
