OVERVIEW

Leave the crowds behind and step into the heart of Alaska’s rainforest for a warm and welcoming Fireside Feast, an authentic open fire dining experience nestled within the Tongass National Rainforest. After a short and scenic transfer from Ward Cove, arrive at a secluded hilltop venue surrounded by towering evergreens and sweeping views of the Tongass Narrows. The smell of wood smoke and crackling flames sets the mood as chefs prepare a multi course meal using traditional live fire techniques and locally inspired ingredients. As each course is prepared over hardwood flames, guests can watch wild caught seafood sizzle on iron grates, see slow roasted meats carved fresh from the fire, and learn about Alaskan cooking traditions along the way. The relaxed, family style atmosphere invites you to savor generous portions, linger by the fire pits, and enjoy the peaceful forest setting before returning to the pier with ample time before ship departure.

The venue includes a short forest walk over packed gravel with slight inclines; however, ADA friendly transportation is available upon request.
