Discover the highlights of Malta with this combination of the island’s most popular and interesting sites. Your coach heads to Valletta, for a walking tour of the capital city. Stop at the Upper Barracca Gardens for a panoramic view of the natural harbor and the three historic cities of Senglea, Cospicua and Vittoriosa. Walk to St. John's Co-Cathedral, the Conventual Church of the Knights of Malta. It’s a gem of Baroque art and architecture, and home of the famous masterpiece - Caravaggio’s Beheading of St. John.

Drive to Qrendi and visit Hagar Qim Temple, one of the Megalithic Temples of Malta and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant offering Traditional Maltese Cuisine. Drive to Mdina, once the capital of Malta and enjoy a walk through its narrow streets. Visit St. Paul’s Cathedral and stop at the city ramparts for a panoramic view. Finally, visit an artisan village where you’ll find typical Maltese ware which includes glass, silver and filigree. Enjoy free time for shopping or browsing.

Need to Know:

Note: As tour visits religious sites, please dress appropriately - no bare shoulders, shorts or skirts above the knee. During summer months, expect high temperatures. We recommend that you drink a lot of water and use sun protection.

If St. John's Co Cathedral is closed for private functions, guests will be taken to the Museum of Archaeology. If Palace Staterooms are closed, guests will visit Palace Armory.
