OVERVIEW

This Pisa and Lucca shore excursion is a wonderful way to experience the charm and history of two of the most beautiful Tuscan towns. Explore the Field of Miracles including the Leaning Tower of Pisa, visit the fascinating Pisa Cathedral, and experience the charming Tuscan town of Lucca with beautiful old Medieval walls. Start your tour by meeting your driver and accessible van at the cruise dock. From here, you will set out on a scenic drive to the town of Pisa. Upon arrival in Pisa, your tour guide will escort you on a wonderful time of exploration in the Field of Miracles. You will learn about the fascinating history as you experience several iconic monuments, including the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the impressive Baptistery, Monumental Cemetery and the Pisa Cathedral. Please note that the Tower does not have an elevator inside but can be viewed from outside if needed. Next, you will head out on a scenic drive to the town of Lucca. In Lucca, your tour guide will take you on a stroll along the medieval wall around the city using a smooth, pedestrianized route. You will see several highlights along the way, including Piazza Verdi, Piazza San Frediano, Piazza Anfiteatro, Piazza Napoleone and Torre Guinigi (outside visit). There will also be time to visit the breathtaking San Michele Church and Lucca Cathedral. During your time in Lucca, you will have an opportunity to enjoy a lunch on your own.

Note: This tour has a limited capacity, and the availability of accessible vehicles is extremely limited. It is recommended that guests make their reservations for accessible shore excursions as early as feasible. At the time of reservation, guests who intend to use a wheelchair (electric or manual) on this excursion must submit the complete dimensions (height, length, and width) and weight of the electric scooter or wheelchair. This tour is designed to utilize the most wheelchair-friendly routes, which include shorter distances, step-free routes, and the absence of a staircase. Accessible restrooms equipped with wide doors for wheelchair access are located along the tour route. The vehicle used on this excursion is equipped with an access ramp (or lift where available) to accommodate a limited number of wheelchairs and/or mobility scooters. Guides are prohibited from assisting with wheelchairs. Guests who require special assistance must be accompanied by a companion who is physically capable. Lunch and snacks are excluded.
