The Damajagua River is the waterfalls’ source and the setting couldn’t be more beautiful. After hiking through the jungle, you will arrive at a series of cascades that comprise this natural wonder. You will be free to swim in the numerous mountain pools, slide down cascades with slick rock chutes and even jump off some of the waterfalls into the refreshing water below. Along the way to Deadman’s Reef at Crystal Beach, you will hear about the wild pigs that inhabit this part of the island. It’s not known exactly why or when pigs were introduced to Grand Bahama, but it will become obvious that their descendants have thrived. Once you wade into the shallow waters, you can expect the pigs to follow, knowing that food awaits. Experience a thrilling immersion into the life of an old prohibition supply boat which was ran around during a hurricane in 1926. The Sapona shipwreck is an awesome snorkeling experience since part of it is still above the water and you may snorkel inside the ship!  There’s no more stunning sight than the turquoise waters and rainbow-hued tropical fish of Bimini’s living coral reefs on the ship, and you may even see a sea turtle who lives inside.  We promise the Sapona Shipwreck is a once in a lifetime experience that you can immerse yourself into the history of the past. On board this 45' Corinthian engine powered catamaran there is seating in the shade or in the sun with a restroom on board. On the way to the snorkel site the crew will get your snorkel gear ready so upon arrival you can climb into the water off the side ladder and experience a once in a lifetime opportunity snorkeling the shipwreck!    After you have immersed yourself into this experience you will be welcomed back on board with a cold cup of authentic rum punch island drink and some ice-cold water!  The crew will then play fun tropical music as you venture your way back to the beautiful island of Bimini.
