Enjoy an orientation drive of Rome and have free time to take in the sites of your choice or do some shopping. You’ll drive by landmarks such as Trajan's Column, the Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus, the Colosseum, and the Roman Forum.

After viewing these major sites, you’ll be dropped off at a central location where you’ll have approximately two hours of free time. Your guide will advise you of the pick-up time for your transfer to your Norwegian Cruise Line program hotel or the airport.

Note: Guests who are planning to visit religious sites during free time, please dress appropriately - no bare shoulders, shorts or skirts above the knee. Large bags or backpacks aren’t permitted in the Vatican nor in St. Peter’s Basilica. This tour is only available for guests with flights after 5:00 pm. This tour is offered only on sailings debarking in Civitavecchia. For guests utilizing our air program, flights are assigned at ticketing, typically about 50 days prior to sailing. Because of this timing, your confirmed flight schedule may overlap with this shore excursion’s scheduled end time. If that happens, the shore excursion may need to be canceled.
