Soap Making & Old Town Wonders

OVERVIEW

Old Town, which UNESCO deemed worthy of a World Heritage site designation for its architecture. The setting for the soap-making workshop will be a private garden, where the instructor will demonstrate each step. You will follow a traditional cold process, which allows for greater customization of the oils and scents than a hot process. The soap you make will be yours to keep as souvenir. You will also take home countless memories of Old Town after strolling through its narrow cobblestone streets. Some of the oldest buildings are along the main artery – known as the Stradun – including the pharmacy that Franciscan friars founded in 1317. You may also pass the 15th-century Rector’s Palace, the 16th-century Sponza Palace and the 17th-century cathedral. The variety of historical architecture presents a picture of how Old Town has evolved over time.
