OVERVIEW

Behold the natural beauty of the surrounding area from a unique water perspective while cruising the waters off Hobart aboard a catamaran. This smooth and comfortable experience offers excellent stability, spacious seating, and expansive viewing areas, both indoors and out, allowing you to enjoy the coastline in comfort or in the refreshing sea air. As you glide down the Derwent River and into Storm Bay, you will pass elegant residences lining Battery Point and iconic landmarks such as the Iron Pot Lighthouse, constructed by convicts in 1832. Mount Wellington—also known by its Aboriginal name, Kunanyi—rises prominently in the distance, creating a dramatic backdrop. Another highlight is circling the protected waters of Betsey Island, a natural refuge for seabirds including gulls, cormorants, and the impressive white-bellied sea eagle, the second-largest bird of prey in Australia.

Note: This tour is not recommended for wheelchair guests. Those with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of ability as there is some moderate walking of approximately 0.7 miles and unpaved and uneven surfaces to negotiate. Guest must be able to negotiate 3 to 4 steps to enter or disembark coach. Wheelchair needs to be able to fold into the coach below, not suitable for wheelchair bound guests. Accessible vehicles are limited and cannot be guaranteed. Wild animal sightings cannot be guaranteed.
