Your tour will begin with a panoramic drive to the Old City; passing through the ancient city walls, you will arrive at the Byzantine Hippodrome and see Blue Mosque from outside while your guide fills you in on the historical details of the surrounding area. Then you will visit St. Sophia Experience Museum located nearby. In this museum, construction of St. Sophia and its history will come alive using digital technology while you will also have the possibility to see artifacts and relics found at St. Sophia. After the visit, you will have a short walk to reach St. Sophia Mosque to see this magnificent building from outside. Tour will continue to see The Grand Bazaar ,one of the most colorful sites of Istanbul. You’ll have the chance to explore the exotic atmosphere of the covered part and the open and modern section of the Grand Bazaar which offers the best artworks and reliable shopping to your disposal.

Note: Walking during the free time is at the guests' discretion. On Sundays, the Grand Bazaar is closed so your visit will be replaced with free time at the Spice Market. In this case, due to the size of the Spice Market, your overall tour duration will be shortened slightly. This tour is designed for full time wheelchair confined guests and their companion only. The vehicle used on this excursion is adapted with an access ramp (or lift where available) to accommodate a limited number of wheelchairs. Guests interested in this tour must present themselves to the Shore Excursions Desk on board the vessel to review availability and departure times. Guests wishing to utilize a wheelchair on this excursion must provide the Shore Excursions desk with the total dimensions (height, length and width) and weight of the electric scooter or wheelchair at the time of booking. Use of a motorized scooter is not guaranteed on this excursion. Please note that this information is subject to change and availability is not guaranteed.
