On this small-group excursion you will discover two of the Big Island’s tallest and most beautiful waterfalls.


Start with a drive through an oceanfront rain forest and the scenic highlights of Hilo on the way to Rainbow Falls. Take a stroll through the banyan trees or just enjoy the view of the falls before heading along Onomea Bay Scenic Drive. Stop for breathtaking views and photos of the waves crashing in the bay below you. Continue to the majestic Akaka Falls--440 feet tall before some free time for shopping on Banyan Drive.


Need to Know:

Note: Guests must wear closed-toed shoes. Participants must be at least 5 years of age and be able to walk on uneven terrain & up and down stairs without assistance. There are opportunities to purchase local products and souvenirs along the way. Order of itinerary may change. Tour capacity is limited, molten lava will not be seen. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.
