Helicopter Glacier Walkabout

Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age and be able to walk up to one mile on rolling and uneven terrain for an hour. Flight time is approximately 30 minutes, with an hour on the glacier. No experience is necessary. Guests are outfitted in wind and waterproof outerwear, hard shell mountaineering boots with crampons, gloves, a waist pack complete with a granola bar and water, and a trekking pole for added stability on the glacier. Dress in comfortable layers, wear mid-length socks, and bring sunglasses. No bags, loose items or tablets are allowed on board the helicopter, safe storage is provided at the base. Group seating is not guaranteed although every effort will be made to seat groups together. Due to aircraft weight and balance limitations, the flight company charges an additional rate for passengers that weigh 250 lbs. or more fully clothed.
