Next stop is at Pirate Hideout located on the picturesque and popular Orient Beach. Here, you'll be treated to a French Caribbean Cooking Demonstration by a Caribbean/French-trained chef who brings the flair of a Food Network star to every dish. A sample taste of a traditional dish called Accra (cod fritter) and a banana flambe. Using fresh, local ingredients and regional spices, the chef will create a delectable dish that embodies the essence of French Caribbean cuisine, all while you relax in a breathtaking beachfront setting. Afterward, you will have an hour to lounge in the sun or dip in the turquoise waters. You have the option to purchase a snack, lunch drinks and rent Chairs and umbrellas. As the tour concludes, you’ll journey back to Philipsburg, where time permitting, you may choose to be dropped off in town to explore further before making your own way back to the cruise ship pier—or simply return directly via the air-conditioned coach.
