The natural treasures of Tahiti are yours to discover during this scenic, half-day orientation tour of the island.


Head towards the East Coast, where you’ll stop at Venus Point, the historic landing site for most European discoverers and evangelists. It boasts the only lighthouse on the island which was built in 1867.


Driving down the south of the island, you’ll pass steep coastlines until you reach the Gauguin Restaurant for some refreshments. You’ll stop to visit Spring Garden of Vaipahi where rare species of precious wood and tropical flowers can be found.


Stop for photos at the famous Papara Surf beach, one of the nicest black sand beaches of the island where the surf is usually ideal for the best local surfers.

Bus tours operate mainly on paved road, however some road conditions may be bumpy. For guests utilizing our air program, flights are assigned at ticketing, typically about 50 days prior to sailing.
