OVERVIEW

Experience the thrill of floating through one of Grenada’s most scenic rivers on this exciting rainforest adventure. Journey from St. George’s into the lush interior of the island, passing through the picturesque Grand Etang Rainforest Reserve before arriving at the Balthazar Estate. After a safety briefing and fitting of your life vest, safety helmet and river tube, set off on a guided tubing adventure along the Balthazar River. Drift through gentle currents, exciting rapids, and tranquil pools while surrounded by tropical rainforest, exotic flora, and native wildlife. Take time for a refreshing swim in one of the river’s natural pools before relaxing with a complimentary rum punch or local fruit juice, then enjoy the scenic drive back to the port.

HELPFUL HINTS

• Wear swimwear, water shoes, and bring a towel and biodegradable sunscreen.
• Bring a change of clothes and a waterproof camera if available.
• Secure loose items before entering the river.

Need to Know:

Note: Participants must be at least 6 years of age and weigh 240 lbs. This tour includes moderate physical activity and takes place in a natural river environment. Participants should be comfortable in the water and able to enter and exit the river independently. A life vest and safety helmet is provided and must be worn throughout the tubing activity. Water shoes are strongly recommended due to uneven and slippery river surfaces. River conditions and the pace of the experience may vary depending on recent rainfall and weather conditions. Guests should follow all instructions provided by the guides to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Water shoes recommended.
