Tromso Highlights & Northern Lights

Your tour begins with a short drive past Lake Prestvatn, the Meteorological Institute and a visit to the renowned Northern Lights Observatory. You’ll watch a 20-minute film in the planetarium and see the wonders of the Northern lights, as experienced by those who live around the Arctic Circle. Seven months of winter sky-watching, hundreds of thousands of photographs and hundreds of hours have been condensed into the world's first three hundred and sixty degree, high resolution movie of the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights.

Cross the Tromso Bridge and discover the modern architecture of the breathtaking Arctic Cathedral - a mighty structure dominated by a beautiful stained glass window depicting the Resurrection of Christ. Take a panoramic drive across the Tromso Bridge and see the city of Tromso before you tour ends at the pier.
