Discover Santiago de Compostela, one of the most important Christian pilgrimage sites in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.


At Obradoiro Square, stand in awe in front of the magnificent cathedral, built in the spot where the remains of Saint James were said to have been found. The cathedral is surrounded by well-preserved Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque buildings, making the old town one of the world’s most beautiful urban areas.


Then, follow your guide through the narrow winding streets as you discover this fascinating city and see many of its historical landmarks. Later, enjoy free time to enter the cathedral on your own, grab a bite to eat or do some shopping.


Need to Know:

Note: Tour involves approximately one mile of walking on flat pavement and cobblestones and a few steps. If you plan to visit the cathedral during free time, please dress appropriately – no bare shoulders, shorts or skirts above the knee. Additional walking during free time is at guests’ discretion.
