Get an introduction to Bermuda’s marine life with snorkeling and beach time. This shoreline cruise takes you to the pristine Sea Gardens, and the shipwreck of the Vixen, a fantastic habitat for a variety of fish and other marine life. This jet-powered, glass bottom boat allows you to view it all, up close, in safe, dry comfort. Departing the reef, you’ll pause at the nearby sea grass beds, where you may spot a few of the many transient turtles.
Then, you’ll head for one of the many small inlet beaches that line the western side of the, where your shallow draft boat will anchor in just 3 feet of water. Here you may take some of the boats snorkel gear and explore the shoreline, wade ashore and relax in the shallows, or play on the boat's new slide. Island tunes and a complimentary Rum Swizzle on the return boat cruise complete the perfect family fun day.
Need to Know:
Note: Guests must be in good health. For those participants wishing to snorkel they must be able to swim. Bring your camera, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel and cash for the bar. Alternate snorkeling sites are subject to change depending on the weather/sea conditions and will be at the discretion of the boat Captain. The water slide is subject to a 200 lb. weight limit.
Tours with this activity level involve a considerable amount of physical activity such as substantial walking over cobblestone streets, uneven or steep terrain, climbing stairs, or extended periods of standing. Not recommended for guests with physical limitations. Comfortable, sturdy shoes are recommended.
