Port Canaveral has multiple cruise terminals. NCL typically sails out of Cruise Terminal 5 (CT5) and Cruise Terminal 6 (CT6), but this is subject to change. Check your NCL eDocs after online check-in to find your specific departure terminal address, and arrival instructions and view the terminal map.
Driving to Port Canaveral
Port Canaveral is easily accessible via State Road 528. Allow extra time for traffic and plan to arrive before the boarding time assigned by NCL on your eDocs.
Parking at Port Canaveral
Port Canaveral offers cruise parking at each terminal; with garages and surface lots located within walking distance. Parking is currently $20 per day plus tax, including the day you arrive and the day you depart. Parking is pay-on-arrival, and reservations aren't required. Confirm your terminal on your eDocs, then look for directions and parking information.
Airports for Port Canaveral Departures
Flying in for your cruise? Orlando International Airport (MCO) is approximately 45 minutes from Port Canaveral. Orlando Melbourne International Airport (MLB) is about 40 minutes away, while Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) is approximately one hour away. Each airport has rideshare, taxi and bus options, or you can book NCL’s transfer services and we’ll take care of the details! We strongly encourage flight arrivals at least one day before embarkation, as NCL will not hold the ship or cover expenses if your flight is delayed.
Travel Documents
Most cruises out of Port Canaveral leave the continental U.S., requiring U.S. citizens to bring a valid passport or - in some cases - qualifying proof of citizenship and government-issued photo ID. NCL strongly recommends traveling with a valid, up-to-date passport.
Check-In
You’ll experience a much faster, more seamless boarding process when you complete Online Check-In, which you can do 21 days before your sailing. Online check-in closes three days before embarkation, at which point you'll have to arrive early and check-in at the port.
