Updated February 16, 2021:    Your safety is our #1 priority—both on and off our ships. Due to the current global environment, we are extending the suspension of cruises to include all cruises embarking through May 2021.

Guests who had an active reservation on a suspended cruise in May 2021 will automatically receive a refund of their cruise fare in the original form of payment for the amount paid by March 23, 2021. Additionally, a 10% off coupon will be automatically added to the guest's account, if the guest has not already received one for a previously cancelled sailing. The 10% FCC coupon is valid for one year from date of issue, and can be used for any Norwegian Cruise Line voyage embarking through 2022 and is combinable with any other Future Cruise Credits and all future promotions at time of booking.

For affected reservations paid via a previously issued Future Cruise Credit, the full value of the FCC used will be re-applied to the guest’s Latitudes account within 7 days. This is done automatically, and no further action is required on the guest or travel advisor’s part.

2021 Alaska Cruises

Following The Government of Canada’s Interim Order which calls for the suspension of passenger cruising in Canadian waters through February 2022, we will temporarily halt the acceptance of bookings for our 2021 Alaska season. At this time we have not cancelled any voyages in our 2021 Alaska season and are currently exploring several initiatives that may allow such cruises to continue.

We are working through all available options as quickly as possible, and given the fluidity of the current environment, we will also continue to work with the Canadian government to amend the current suspension. We will continue to keep all travel partners and guests updated as the situation progresses, and we thank them for their patience.

Will out of pocket costs (including items such as individually purchased air) incurred as a result of this cancelation be reimbursed?

While we understand this change may cause some out of pocket and unexpected expenses for affected guests, they will not be reimbursed for those costs. We recommend that guests who purchased travel protection or independent travel insurance submit a claim through their carrier.

Can guests choose to carry promotional amenities or value adds from their cancelled reservation to their future booking?

At time of cancellation, all promotional offers, amenities and value adds will be removed from the booking and will not carry-over to future reservations. Future reservations are subject to prevailing fares and offers in market at the time of booking.

What happens if a suspended sailing booking has a combination of cash deposits and FCC applied?

FULL CASH BOOKING: 100% monetary refund of fare paid back to the original form of payment.

FULL FCC BOOKING: 100% FCC value back to the guest’s Latitudes account.

CASH + FCC BOOKING: Portion paid with cash will receive monetary refund back to original form of payment. Portion paid with FCC will be applied back to the Latitudes account.

What happens to CruiseNext certificates that were used on a cancelled reservation?

CruiseNext certificates used will be returned to the guest account on file.

Will Tour Conductors (TC’s) be protected for affected canceled bookings?

Tour Conductor credits will be protected for paid in full, for active bookings that are within final payment at the time of suspension by Norwegian. Please note that this is a manual process. We will need time to create appropriate processes for each group. We will continue to provide process updates as these are made available.
