Discover the Dutch Caribbean

Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire & Sint Maarten are all considered part of the "Dutch Caribbean". Many of these islands’ residents are Dutch nationals and Dutch & Papiamentu are the official languages (though most people speak English and Spanish as well). Because of these influences, this region’s unique and diverse flavours have made the Southern Caribbean a unique draw. The architectural influences in particular are a striking reminder of these ties. Aruba’s Fort Zoutman and Willem III Towers are famous examples of Dutch colonial architecture, while Willemstad, Bonaire, was actually designed to mirror 17th-century Amsterdam. And be sure to get a little "taste of Europe" when you’re here with traditional Dutch dishes like Bitterballen (meatballs) and Stroopwafels (waffle biscuits).

See St. Lucia’s Natural Wonders

From volcanoes to rainforests to sky-scraping mountains, St. Lucia is a small island that packs a big ecological punch.
