Land Sailing

OVERVIEW

Race around a specially designed track in a three-wheeled wind-powered vehicle that offers the thrill of sailing but on land. On the way there, you will learn the basics of modern land sailing, an exhilarating activity that started in Europe in the late 19th century. The concept of using sails for land vehicles pre-dates that, perhaps as early as the 6th century. During a briefing at the land sailing site, you will delve even deeper into this unique sport and get tips that will help you maximize the experience. You will then ease into your own Blokart®, a vehicle whose trade name refers to the blowing wind and its resemblance to a go-kart. You may be surprised by how easy it is to maneuver around the sandy track. Go as fast as you like by controlling the speed.
