What better place to try Scuba diving than with one of the pioneer, dive resorts in the Caribbean? Anthony’s Key Resort encourages you to try Scuba diving in this basic introduction to the sport and, as a PADI dive center you’ll be learning to dive with the best! This scuba diving course takes you through a short video and classroom session on the theory and skills of diving. Then you’ll get to practice those skills in shallow water first and then move on to do a 40 foot ocean dive. This session can be credited toward full PADI Open Water Certification.

OVERVIEW

Ride a bicycle around the beautiful West Bay district, stopping along the way at attractions that best characterize Grand Cayman. You will begin at Morgan’s Harbor and before long pedal down country lanes and through lovely residential neighborhoods. The winding route will become a bit more rugged as you approach Boatswain’s Bay, where phosphate mining once flourished. Other points of interest include the Cobalt Coast, which was named for the sea’s brilliant blue color, and Hell, an infernal-looking expanse of jagged black limestone that lies inland. You will also stop to sample a selection of cakes infused with locally distilled rum before traveling on to Seven Mile Beach, a crescent-shaped stretch of sand on the island’s west coast. You might lie back in a lounge chair and bask in the sun, stroll along the lengthy shoreline and take a refreshing swim in the sea. You could also dine on your own.

Fun, convenient, and an experience of a lifetime! You’ll be greeted by your smiling dolphin guide at the end of the dock who will brief you on the day`s events. It is only a five-minute walk to the Dolphin Park located within the dock facility. You’ll be given a locker and lifejacket. A member of the training team will provide an educational briefing that details what to expect during your dolphin interaction and key points of interest. Cameras and valuables are to be placed in the lockers for safekeeping as cameras are not allowed in the water.

Set in a natural ocean habitat with a sandy bottom, adventure awaits you for your chance to swim, hug, caress, and even be pulled by a bottlenose dolphin’s pectoral fin. Standing on a submerged platform, you’ll be introduced to your dolphin friend. Enjoy this rare opportunity to touch the sleek and playful animal. You'll be led into deeper waters where you’ll be pulled by their pectoral fin and swim with your dolphin. Be amazed by your dolphin's speed, grace, and agility as they perform fast swims, high jumps, and other breathtaking behaviors. Guests spend approximately 30 minutes in the water with the dolphins.

Enjoy the thrill of sailing through the turquoise Caribbean Sea on the Castaway Girl, a catamaran that will take you to Shipwreck Cove for snorkeling. The catamaran is fast, stable and extraordinarily comfortable with spacious sunbathing decks and a large cockpit for those who prefer a bit of shade. You can expect an exhilarating cruise all the way to Shipwreck Cove, which is located on Buck Island. Once Castaway Girl anchors, you will be free to snorkel the surrounding coral reefs. Zip through the turquoise seas off Charlotte Amalie in a powerful catamaran that will take you to one of the island’s premier spots for snorkeling. The one-level Powercat offers plenty of cushioned seats in the shade and sun so you can easily find a spot to your liking. Either way, the views will be wonderfully picturesque on the way to Buck Island. A different sort of tropical scenery awaits you beneath the water’s surface, as you will discover while snorkeling the island’s Turtle Cove. You might spot French angelfish, brilliantly colored damselfish and bright-blue tangs. Hawksbills and green turtles are prevalent and watching them gracefully swim by is a showstopper. Along the way, you will have to use your wits to figure out the intentionally misleading clues at each destination while racing against the clock. Besides having a great time, you will visit places off the beaten path that few visitors to Cozumel ever see. There is no better way to really get a feel for the town and the local culture. The finish line is a wonderful family-owned restaurant serving traditional Mexican fare; two cold beverages are included. A discounted menu is available for Amazing Race participants. Enjoy a short drive in air-conditioned comfort to the world-famous Dunn’s River Falls where you'll climb 600 feet of cool refreshing water as it cascades over natural limestone terraces. Guides are provided to assist you when ascending the rushing waters as it plunges directly into the pristine Caribbean Sea.
