  • Historic Walking Tour & City Center: Take an Egersund town center walking tour through Strandgaten, known for its beautifully preserved 18th- and 19th-century colorful wooden buildings and houses. Then head to Haugen, the medieval sector, where narrow streets lead to local shops, artisan boutiques, cafés and chocolate makers.
  • Eigerøy Lighthouse: Visit this red-and-white coastal landmark, erected in 1853–1854. Just a short drive from the town center, the lighthouse features one of Europe’s strongest lights and a tower built with approximately 70,000 stones.
  • Stoplesteinan: See a mysterious stone monument often called Norway’s Stonehenge. Located just outside town, the circle consists of 16 raised stones with a diameter of almost 70 feet. A portion of the Pilgrim's Route, also known as St. Olav's Way or the Old Kings' Road, is visible nearby.
