Make the journey up to Mount Dalsnibba for a spectacular view of the Geiranger Fjord, one of the longest and deepest fjords in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the viewpoint at the top of Eagle Road, you’ll see the famous Seven Sisters waterfalls.


You’ll be transferred ashore by tender to the pier in Geiranger, where coaches and guides are waiting your arrival. This picturesque village is one of Norway’s most popular tourist resorts with locals and visitors alike. The coach climbs up the winding mountain road offering an ever changing kaleidoscope of mountain farms, waterfalls, lakes and streams.


From Lake Djupvatn, you’ll continue up the hairpin road to Mount Dalsnibba. From the summit, nearly 5,000 feet/1,500 meters above sea level, you’ll have a spectacular view of the Geiranger Fjord far below and the magnificent mountain peaks all around.


At Flydal viewpoint you’ll make a stop to take a photograph of your ship down on the fjord. You’ll continue to the north side of the fjord with a drive up Eagle Road, carved in the mountain with 11 hairpin turns. At the viewpoint at the top, you’ll see the famous Seven Sisters waterfalls.

Need to Know:

Note: Should the road to the summit of Dalsnibba Mountain be closed, due to heavy snow or ice, tour buses will only go as far as the road allows. You’ll have extra photo stops on the Eagle Road, for maximum enjoyment of your experience.
