Begin with a visit to a lush botanical garden, home to many of Lifou's endemic plants, including fragrant vanilla vines. Continue to the dramatic Cliffs of Jokin, where ancient fossilized coral rises nearly 120 feet above the sea, offering breathtaking coastal views. Enjoy a scenic drive through the seaside village of Easo before ascending to the historic Notre Dame de Lourdes chapel, perched high above Santal Bay. Your journey continues across the island to Hnathalo, where you'll be welcomed with refreshing coconut water, explore the impressive Grand Case (the largest chief's hut in New Caledonia), and visit the charming St. Jean Baptist Church built by early missionaries.

Need to Know:

Note: This tour includes extensive walking over uneven terrain with tree roots and rocky surfaces, as well as climbing approximately 200 steps at the Cliffs of Jokin. There are no elevators, ramps, or lifts available, and the tour is not suitable for guests who utilize a wheelchair or those with limited mobility. Guests should be in good physical condition and comfortable with prolonged standing and stair climbing. Coaches are not air-conditioned and do not have a PA system, and restroom facilities are rustic. Modest attire is required for village and chapel visits, photography should be done only with permission, and guests are strongly encouraged to wear sturdy walking shoes and bring sun protection and bottled water.
