Before entering Florence, you’ll stop at a leather factory where you’ll see artisans at work as well as have the opportunity to do some shopping. You’ll then go on a panoramic ride along the hills of Florence and the Arno River. Proceed to Michelangelo Square for a magnificent view of the city and a great photo opportunity. You’ll be dropped off at a central location in Florence and have approximately 45 mins walk to St. Croce Square with its many shops, restaurants and cafes. Ponte Vecchio and Signoria square are only a few minutes walk away. You’ll have approximately 1 1/2 hours of free time to enjoy Florence on your own. At a designated time, you’ll meet your escort for the ride back to Livorno.

Note: This tour includes a moderate amount of walking mainly at the guest's discretion. Those guests with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of ability and stamina. This is not a guided tour, an English speaking escort will accompany you to and from Florence, and assist you with any questions you may have. The tour busses are not allowed into the historical center of Florence. The drop off/pick up point is approx. 45 mins walk away from Santa Croce. Casual, weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable, flat walking shoes are suggested. Maps of Florence are provided by QR code. Guests who are planning to visit religious sites during free time or on tour, please dress appropriately; no bare shoulders or shorts are allowed. Lunch is not included, but there are plenty of opportunities for guests to organize a meal.
