Snorkel the azure waters of Belize's Barrier Reef, the world’s largest living barrier reef. This is a shallow water entry, well suited for beginners and intermediate snorkelers.

Depart from the Harvest Caye Marina on one of our comfortable snorkel vessels for the short scenic ride to a beautiful site along the reef. This location is teeming with multitudes of colorful reef fish, co-habiting among the beautiful hard and soft coral formations, intermingled with sponges, sea fans and delicate sea anemones. Possible sightings of spotted eagle rays and schools of larger fish are quite common, large starfish, queen conchs and sea cucumbers also call this patch of the reef home.

After snorkeling, re-board your boat and enjoy the return trip with complimentary rum or fruit punch while listening to Caribbean rhythmic vibes.

Enjoy the amazing scenery of Teide National Park and ride a cable car up Mount Teide, the world’s third highest volcano and a sacred site for Tenerife’s aboriginal people.

After departing from the pier, you will drive inland along an immensely picturesque, circuitous route and on into Teide National Park. The largest of the Canary Island national parks, Teide features a colossal stratovolcano that contains Mount Teide, the highest peak on Spanish soil. Its stunning geological formations are so important to understanding how volcanic islands are created that the park has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The now dormant volcano last erupted in 1798. It also erupted in 1492, supposedly as Christopher Columbus was sailing past on his voyage of discovery. Your approach to Mount Teide will be through a volcanic crater 30 miles in circumference.

The closer you come to Mount Teide, the more surreal and lunar the landscape will appear. The terrain is a jumble of bizarre natural rock formations, petrified lava rivers and endemic vegetation. One of the most spectacular plants is the red bugloss, a species with 6-foot, cone-shaped stems covered in pinkish-purple blossoms.

More phenomenal sights await you while ascending Mount Teide via cable car. From this unique perspective, you will enjoy sweeping views of the volcanic landscape and the ancient crater rimmed with red, brown and yellow walls. Upon reaching the summit, you may explore further during free time before retracing your route back to the pier in Tenerife.

Admire the natural beauty surrounding the Bay of Fundy by visiting a coastal park full of hiking trails, lookouts and historical buildings from the years when this area was logged.

After departing from the pier, you will settle in for a relaxing drive to St. Martins, a lovely coastal village settled in 1783. It is known for its twin covered bridges, which you will view from a vantage point that allows you to capture both bridges in one spectacular shot.

Continuing on, you will travel the winding Fundy Trail Parkway, passing forest lookouts, more beautiful beaches and the spectacular Bay of Fundy that rims the park. At the Big Salmon Interpretive Centre, you will watch an enlightening video about the park’s history and the modest lodge that newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst built nearby.

You will then have free time to enjoy the attractions that interest you most. You might meander the hiking paths, cross the suspension footbridge that spans the crystal-clear Salmon River, and explore the replica sawmill. Be sure to see Flower Pot Rock, a tall thin rock tower that the pounding sea has shaped over time.

The bay’s rising tides have also created sea caves in the red sandstone, which you will see on the return to St. Martins. While totally submerged during high tide, the caves are easy to reach at low tide and make for a memorable photo any time. Following lunch at a restaurant that overlooks the caves, you will return to Saint John.

Drive a Jeep through downtown Nassau and its suburbs, taking in attractions such as the caves where the indigenous Lucayans once lived and then pausing to relax at the beach..

After a short walk from the pier, you will hop into a Jeep Wrangler and hit the open road. There is plenty to see during your time behind the wheel, starting with downtown Nassau, the capital, largest city and cultural hub of the Bahamas..

Fly to a national park on the border of Argentina and Brazil and behold the staggering power and beauty of Iguazú Falls by walking along trails and cat walks that give you extraordinary views of this amazing natural wonder.

After departing from the pier, you will transfer to the airport in Buenos Aires and fly directly to Iguazu, which lies inland near Iguazú National Park. The falls were discovered in 1541 by Alvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca and established in 1984 as a Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Situated in Iguazú National Park, the falls are shared by both Brazil and Argentina.

The massive cascade is made up of 275 separate waterfalls that thunder down sheer cliffs in a majestic display of nature’s power. The falls are nearly twice as high and three times as wide as Niagara Falls, a fact not lost on Eleanor Roosevelt who reportedly said, “Poor Niagara,” when she beheld roaring Iguazu.

You will observe this staggeringly beautiful, natural phenomenon by walking a path either above or below the falls. Both trails are extraordinary in their own way.

Then, following a buffet lunch at a restaurant within the park, you will ride an eco-train to Devil’s Throat, which at more than 250 feet high is the single tallest waterfall within Iguazú. Once you are at the Devil’s Throat Station, you will have to walk approximately a half mile on a flat catwalk built over the Upper Iguazu River. Once you get to the end of the catwalk, you will find yourself at a strategic lookout point that rests on the side of the spectacular Devil’s Throat. It’s truly a glorious sight that you will not soon forget. The surrounding rainforest is equally impressive, as it is home to about 2,000 plant species and 400 bird species, including toucans, parrots and peregrine falcons.

Following your Iguazu Falls adventure, you will fly back to Buenos Aires and transfer to your NCL designated hotel.

    Alhambra!

Travel to enthralling Granada and tour the amazing Alhambra, a 14th-century fortress-palace considered to be the most spectacular example of Moorish architecture in Spain.

From the pier, it's a drive inland of over 2-hours to reach Granada, a high-altitude city nestled on a fertile plain at the base of the rugged Sierra Nevada Mountains. While Granada is certainly charming with its narrow streets, serene plazas and exquisite cuisine, its highlight remains the incomparable Alhambra, a 14-century fortress-palace that you'll explore in great detail.

Even the approach is magnificent, as the Alhambra's red walls and towers rise imposingly from a forest of cypress and elm. Inside the huge complex, you'll find a fortified citadel known as the Alcazaba and the Palacios Nazaries, the palatial residences. The vast majority of the original architecture has been meticulously preserved, but you'll also see evidence of later additions by Christian conquers who built a church, convent and Renaissance palace.

Walking through the seemingly endless rooms and courtyards is an unforgettable experience, as the Alhambra complex is adorned with richly colored mosaics, ornamental columns and romantic archways.

Following your guided visit of the Palace, you'll next make your way through avenues of colorful bougainvillea, wisteria soaring cypress trees on your way to Generalife, the ancient summer palace of the Arab kings. Surrounded by splendid gardens, the Generalife is comprised of two pavilions separated by the enchanting "Acequia Patio". Its terraces and promenade offer up spectacular views of Granada's old Moorish quarter and the surrounding countryside. The gardens here are so phenomenal they are said to have inspired author Washington Irving, who wrote a collection of essays entitled "Tales of the Alhambra" after visiting in 1828.

Following your tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you'll be treated to a traditional Andalusian lunch at a local restaurant before rejoining your coach and making the drive back to the pier and your awaiting ship.
