CPAP Machine

Does the ship provided or have for sale distilled water for CPAP machine
Asked by: nnarkthong
You can request distilled water - free of charge - by contacting accessible cruising with your requirements: https://www.ncl.com/about/accessible-cruising# On a very recent cruise (back just 4 days ago), they provided a jug of distilled water (4 litres?) in the cabin on the day of departure based on our request. Note: You will need an extension cord (NOT surge protected) to connect the CPAP to the power source which is across the cabin from the night tables. The recommendation is that you bring your own extension cord, based on the limited availability they keep on board. We brought a 12' extension cord and threaded it along the ceiling with small magnetic hooks to keep this from being a tripping hazard. (A shorter extension cord would need to run across the floor and would need to be taped down by the steward.) Hope this helps.

What room amenities are included? Shampoo? Conditioner? Lotion? Hair dryer?

Asked by: Lynnear
Shampoo and body wash are provided in the shower. There is hand soap near the sink. The hair dryer is in the bedroom, under the vanity and it not movable. There is a mirror there and a stool that you can sit on to style your hair. There was no outlet in the bathroom.

Can I bring a non surge protector power strip with a cord and a non surge protected extension cord on the Bliss

Asked by: Anonymous
I have been on a dozen NCL cruises. My wife and I both use CPAP. I bring a multi outlet non surge cord and have never had it confiscated. On our most recent cruise on Bliss in Dec 2023, our room steward brought our distilled water and offered to bring a power strip and tape it down so I took him up on it. But since outlets are far from the beds on every class except Prima extension cords are a must.

What should you wear in mid June in Alaska?

First trip to Alaska.Going on the Bliss, not sure what to pack for warmth.
Asked by: Ponchatoula
I've lived in Juneau, Alaska for over 35 years. A 70 degree day will melt us locals, and tourists find it warm. We sometimes get 80+ degree days which are horrendously hot for us, and tourists find it hot. They're surprised we can get that hot and marvel that we have (pretty much) no air conditioning. It's not worth it for the few hot days we get each year. June can also be wet and rainy. (We are a rainforest...). Temperatures can range from the 40's to 50's on rainy days, and tourists are in winter coats and gloves while we wear a rain jacket. So? What do you wear in mid-June? It depends on the weather. Just remember, we live in a rainforest here, so our rain gear never gets put away. We celebrate every day is doesn't rain. So, enjoy our clouds with us, and celebrate the sun if you get to see it. I can't imagine living anywhere else, and I grew up in Illinois and also spent 11 years in sunny Montana.

If you have The Haven rooms can you invite guest from the other decks to dinner and or drinks in the Haven area?

Asked by: MacJae
If you are staying in Haven, you can ask the Concierge to have guests dine with you in the Haven restaurant. There will be an upcharge for the guests. You can also have guests come to your cabin but they can't use the other facilities in Haven like the lounge, pool, or bar. We have had friends come dine with us at the Have restaurant in the past without issue but needing to speak with the Concierge in the past and you can always have non Haven guests in your cabin.

how do i see which nights the shows are offered and how do I book seats?

Asked by: spacey
If you explore your ship it will have a tab of "What's on Board". When you get on the ship there is a box office where you would go and book your seats.

Hoping to not pack as much & wash midway through w/o paying someone.

There are no washing machines for you to use. You would need to pay per item to have items laundered.
