What is the White Hot Party and which evening is it?

First time on Norwegian Sky and trying to plan clothing to pack. What is the White Hot Party?
Asked by: SusieQ1323
The White Hot Party is the signature party event on all NCL cruise ships. There is no set date for it and it will occur usually on the 3rd or 4th night of the cruise. Check the onboard newsletter for the exact date & time. You are encouraged to wear something white to the party. However, you don't have to wear white if you prefer not to wear white clothes.

My CPAP machine requires distilled water - May I bring that on board with me

Asked by: Volchat
Contact NCL and let them know in advance you will be bringing distilled water for the CPAP. They should be able to facilitate getting it onboard the ship.

Are there smoking areas onboard the Norweigen Sky?

Asked by: kimberkjg
You are allowed to smoke in designated smoking areas outside the ship and in the casino. Smoking is not allowed in the balcony of your stateroom. If the ship has a cigar lounge, you can smoke cigarettes & cigars in the smoking lounge. Here's the link for more details on it http://www.ncl.com/faq#smoking

Im a first time cruiser so I have a couple of questions. 1. Are the gratuities included in the service charge?

2. Are all drinks both alcohol and non alcohol and all bars included with the "open bar"? 3. What is the hold amount placed on the credit card at the time of boarding?
Asked by: KeyKey
The service charge is the gratuity. However, if you order alcoholic drinks, they automatically add a 20% gratuity. All types of drinks are included with the open bar but there is a limit on the price of the drink. The top shelf drinks have a surcharge. The amount of hold put on the card depends on the length of the cruise. The initial hold is put to cover the service charge and some other charges. If you exceed the initial hold, they will put another hold on it. If you don't have enough to cover the hold on your card, you will be asked for another form of payment.

In the interior cabins are the sofas pull out beds? Or do they only have the pull down beds?

Asked by: SavyP
Each stateroom has two full sized beds that can be pushed together to make a queen sized bed. Depending on the type of room and the room configuration, the third and fourth guests will either sleep on 2 bunk beds attached to the wall or sofa bed or a combination of bunk bed and roll away beds or a sofa bed. Your stateroom steward will open the beds in the evening and close them up in the morning.
