What is Free at Sea™?

Free at Sea is our one-of-a-kind cruising package. Enjoy unlimited premium beverages, world-class specialty dining, shore excursion credits, and Wi-Fi - all included with your cruise. Simply pre-pay the gratuities, and everything else is taken care of. Together, these perks deliver more than $2,000 in value per stateroom, making Free at Sea the smartest way to sail.

When can I select Free at Sea™?

Free at Sea can be added during the offer selection portion of the booking process. If Free at Sea was not selected during the booking process, guests can still add it up to 24 hours prior to sailing. Free at Sea can be added in your MyNCL account or by calling 1-800-327-7030.

Who is eligible for Free at Sea™?

Any reservation created on or after November 5, 2025, for a 2+ night sailing.

FREE AT SEA™ UNLIMITED OPEN BAR PACKAGE

Are there any limitations on the amount of alcoholic drinks that can be ordered with the Unlimited Open Bar Package?

There is no limit to the amount of drinks consumed; however, guests who choose to consume alcohol must do so responsibly. The ship's staff may refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any guest who does not consume alcohol responsibly.

Do I have to pay a corkage fee if I have Free at Sea™?

Guests who have the Unlimited Open Bar package as part of the Free at Sea promotion will not be charged a corkage fee if the guest brings a bottle(s) of wine onboard.

What is the Connoisseur Collection?

The Connoisseur Collection consists of beverages that are not included in the Unlimited Open Bar Package. Any guests with the Unlimited Open Bar Package will receive $15 off the retail value of drinks in the Connoisseur Collection

Who does the Unlimited Open Bar Package apply to in the stateroom?

The package applies to all guests in the stateroom aged 21+. Guests 1 or 2 aged 3-20 will instead receive freshly squeezed juice and unlimited fountain pop for $12.50 per person per day. Guests 3-8 aged 3-20 will not receive a beverage package as a substitution but may purchase one separately.

Will Haven guests have to pay for beverages not included in the Unlimited Open Bar Package?

Yes, all guests will be charged for beverages not included in the Unlimited Open Bar Package. Any guests with Free at Sea will receive $15 off the retail value of drinks in the Connoisseur Collection..

SPECIALTY DINING

How can I make dining reservations?

You can make reservations via MyNCL, NCL’s mobile app, by calling our reservations department at 800-327-7030, or once onboard. Reservations are subject to availability. https://www.ncl.com/faq#!#when-can-i-pre-book-dining

If I didn’t take advantage of Free at Sea™ specialty dining at the time of booking, can I add it later or purchase it onboard?

If you booked with Free at Sea but didn't select specialty dining, you can add it to your cruise in your online account at the "upgrades" tab. This must be done at least three days before your cruise.

You cannot purchase Free at Sea specialty dining onboard. You can purchase specialty dining meals onboard at prevailing rates + taxes and fees.

All specialty restaurants will have a cover charge + taxes and fees. Cover charges are as follows:

  • Steak, Teppanyaki / Hasuki, French, and Seafood have a $60 cover charge.
  • Brazil, Asian, Food Republic, and Sushi have a $50 cover charge.
  • Italian, BBQ, Pincho, and Mexican have a $40 cover charge.
If I have Free at Sea™ do I need to use one of my specialty dining nights for the Haven restaurant?

No, the Haven restaurant is complimentary for all guests staying in a Haven cabin.

  • Guests staying in our suite accommodations with complimentary breakfast/lunch in a specialty restaurant do not need to use one of their specialty dining nights for this amenity.
  • Guests who are invited to join dinner at the Haven restaurant do not need to use one of their specialty dining nights but are subject to the dining cost.
What is the cost for guests under the age of 18 in specialty restaurants?

For guests under 18 without Free at Sea™ Specialty Dining:

  • Guests (12 and under) eat free from the kid's menu. Additional specialty menu items outside of the kid's menu and are subject to the cover charge per Specialty Dining restaurant.
  • Guests (13 – 18) are subject to the cover charge per Specialty Dining restaurant.

For guests under 18 with Free at Sea™ Specialty Dining:

  • Guests (12 and under) eat free from the kid's menu. Additional specialty menu items outside of the kid's menu are available. Guests choosing to order outside the Kid's menu will be required to pay the $20 dining gratuities. Applicable only to Guest 2 in the stateroom.
  • Guests (13 – 18) pay $20 per person/meal for gratuities when the package is added to the reservation.

Wi-Fi PACKAGE

Are the Wi-Fi login minutes per person or shared minutes among the multiple logins?

FWi-Fi minutes are per person, for every guest in the stateroom.

What other Wi-Fi packages will be offered?

For interested guests, upgraded Wi-Fi packages are still available for purchase:
Voyage Wi-Fi Pass (1.5MBPS) for $29.99 per stateroom per day.
Streaming Voyage Wi-Fi Pass for $39.99 per stateroom per day.

How do 3rd and 4th guests sail at a reduced rate?

MORE QUESTIONS EXISTING RESERVATIONS [EXCLUDING GROUP RESERVATIONS]

What happens if I made my reservation prior to November 5, 2025 and then my reservation is re-priced due to a new offer or lower price afterwards or if I pay to upgrade my stateroom afterwards?

Guests who re-price their reservation or upgrade their stateroom after November 5, 2025, will be subject to the new amenities and terms and conditions of Free at Sea™.

What happens if I made my reservation prior to November 5, 2025, and received More at Sea™?

There will be no changes to your reservation. You will still receive the More at Sea™ amenities at the price you paid at the time of booking.
