After departing from the pier, you will settle in for an immensely scenic drive south, passing through small villages and the gorgeous countryside that characterizes the southernmost part of Spain. As you follow the descending footpath, you will soon pass the ramparts of Montjuic Castle, a 17th-century fortress that played a key role in the War of the Spanish Succession.
