Sit back and relax, enjoying views as you travel a route to Cavendish, home of the Green Gables Heritage Place, the house that inspired the children’s classic. The house and grounds have been restored to reflect the period setting described in the novel and fans will get a kick out of exploring the ground they have read so much about. You may also explore the Visitor's Centre, learn about island farming and browse the gift shop for books and souvenirs. You’ll travel through the stunning park to the red sandstone cliffs, set against white capped waves for an incredible photo opportunity at the famous Cavendish beach. You`ll also make a stop in Rustico, to capture this picturesque fishing village known for its stunning coastal views and vibrant local culture.
