Antarctica is home to some many unique sub-species that you will only found in this region of the world. In fact, animals outnumber humans on most of these islands. Witness the largest animal to ever exist, the blue whale, right from the deck of the ship. Blue Whales in Antarctica have been measured to be as big as three school buses, so you won't miss them! And don’t forget to get your camera ready for Emperor Penguin and other rare bird sightings.

The Falkland Islands

Hundreds of islands make up the archipelago of the Falklands, a self-governing "British Overseas Territory" lying between South America and the Antarctic Peninsula. With its cliff-lined coasts, white-sand beaches, untouched landscapes, sprawling sheep farms, and storied past, The Falklands are wildly popular with both wildlife enthusiasts and history buffs. Here, you'll find five different species of penguins (including the iconic King Penguin) as well as sea lions, elephant seals, and a variety of birds, such as the famed albatross. The capital of Stanley is located on the largest island - East Falkland. This quaint city is home to gorgeous hikes, endless nature, the Anglican Christ Church Cathedral (the southernmost cathedral in the world), the Falklands Battlefield and many penguins, just waiting to meet you.

Scenic Cruising Around Elephant Island (Cape Lookout), Antarctica

Situated off the coast of Antarctica, Elephant Island is named after the elephant seals that populate it as well as the island's shaped, which resembles an elephant head. Rugged mountains, a glistening icy landscape and unique wildlife add to the mystique of this remote destination.
