OVERVIEW

Indulge in unlimited tastings of chocolates from various sources throughout the Hawaiian Islands and learn how these artisanal sweets are crafted from premium cacao beans. The venue for this ultimate immersion into the world of chocolate will be Honolii Orchards, a multi-generational family farm. In the beautiful open-air tasting room, you will learn more about chocolate than you ever thought possible, including details about each farm and their unique post-harvest practices and how cacao is now grown and harvested through sustainable agricultural practices. Although the short seminar will be fascinating, the highlight will be sampling an unlimited number of chocolate bars from at least 10 different single-source Hawaiian estates and gain a deeper understanding of your own chocolate flavor preferences. The tasting will reveal how weather and other factors affect the flavor of the chocolate, much like the terroir of a vineyard. You will also be served fermented cacao beans, cacao tea and all sorts of farm-fresh fruits. Afterwards, feel free to browse the curated selection of sweets and other crafted souvenirs in the gift shop.
