Tour includes step-free routes, shorter distances and no stairs. Accessible restrooms with wide doors for wheelchairs are present along the tour route. Vehicles are adapted with an access ramp (or lift where available) to accommodate a limited number of wheelchairs and/or mobility scooters. Guides are not allowed to push wheelchairs; therefore, guests needing special assistance must be accompanied by an able-bodied.

Explore the architectural gems throughout the Old Town of Taormina, an enticing setting with a remarkable wealth of attractions. From Piazza IX Aprile, you will be treated to breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea and foreboding Mount Etna. The 17th-century Church of St. Joseph and an iconic clock tower overlook the square, which is renowned for its black-and-white checkered marble that resembles a giant chessboard. Piazza Duomo is another popular gathering place in the heart of Old Town. Be sure to note the statue of a minotaur on the central fountain, as it has become a symbol of Taormina. An enlightening interior visit of the cathedral behind the fountain will reveal features such as wooden beams with Arab motifs, 15th-century paintings and chapels on either side of the main altar. Not far out of town, you will pause for photos at a lookout above the beautiful Bay of Naxos.
