Enjoy this adventure and nature experience in Patagonia. You’ll spend time at a penguin reserve, see wildlife and enjoy a lunch of roasted Patagonian lamb in the rustic setting of Estancia San Lorenzo.
Peninsula Valdez is one of the finest wildlife reserves in South America and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It provides an outstanding natural habitat for sea lions, sea elephants, seals and birds. Enjoy a brief stop at the small Visitors Center to view exhibits on the flora and fauna and drive to Punta Norte to see a colony of sea lions and elephant seals.
Visit Estancia San Lorenzo, home to a huge penguin rookery. Here you’ll transfer to Golfo San Matias to see a large colony of Magellanic penguins. You’ll have time to observe them, learn about their habits and take photographs. You might even encounter other wildlife here. Enjoy a hearty lunch at the estancia, before or after your penguin experience.

Note: Tour involves approximately 1/2 mile of walking over uneven, cobblestone, sand, steep terrain and 30 steps. Buses may not be air-conditioned and travel along bumpy, dusty roads. Although wildlife sightings are frequent, they are not guaranteed. Do not get too close or touch wildlife.
Tours with this activity level involve a considerable amount of physical activity such as substantial walking over cobblestone streets, uneven or steep terrain, climbing stairs, or extended periods of standing. Not recommended for guests with physical limitations. Comfortable, sturdy shoes are recommended.
