Norwegian's Rio Olympics Casino Tournaments

There’s nothing more invigorating than watching an Olympic event happen before your eyes. If you haven’t already made a reservation to see the world renowned event, you can still experience the Olympic atmosphere on board Norwegian Cruise Line ships through the 2016 Rio Olympics Casino Tournaments.

The Olympic themed slot and blackjack tournaments will run through the month of August on all ships except for Norwegian Getaway and Norwegian Epic. If you are partaking in a slot tournament, they are as easy as ABC. Just make sure to warm up your arms and fingers as each round will last for an intense 2 minutes.

In the Blackjack tournament players will play 7 hands per round with 2,000 chips as a start-up. Whoever holds the highest amount of chips in the end of the last hand after all the double down, splitting and hitting will win. There will be 1 winner per round and only the top 6 highest round winners will play in the Finals. Just like the Olympics, winners will be awarded Bronze, Silver and the most coveted Gold medal. Contestants will race for the top prize of 500 dollars for both respective tournaments. Qualifiers for the final round will receive freebies from the Norwegian Casino as well.
