Join this tour for a memorable Australian experience. Visit the amazing Rainforestation Nature Park, take a journey aboard the Kuranda Scenic Railway and ride on a World War II Army Duck. Experience one of the most unique rail journeys in Australia.

You’ll ascend 1,076 feet passing stunning water falls, traveling through 15 tunnels and crossing 40 bridges on your way to Kuranda. During your 90-minute trip, enjoy an informative presentation as you travel through ancient rainforest. A brief drive will take you to Rainforestation, located on 100 acres of World Heritage rainforest. You’ll board an amphibious Army Duck, for a ride along the water’s edge, where you may see turtles, fish, eels and other wildlife.

At Koala and Wildlife Park, you can see koalas, wander among free-roaming kangaroos and wallabies, and visit an exciting nocturnal display. You can even get your picture taken holding an adorable koala, for an additional fee. Enjoy scenic views on your return drive to the ship.

Need to Know:

Note: Tour involves a moderate amount of walking. There are some steps to negotiate and guests must step-up to board the Army Duck. The Kuranda Scenic Railway is rustic, not air-conditioned with high-backed benches. Comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, sun screen and insect repellant are recommended. Tour operates with a driver/guide.
