Begin with a refreshing island welcome drink before sampling beloved Honduran specialties prepared by local chefs, including baleadas filled with beans, cheese, and cream, savory pastelitos de carne, and crispy tostones con encurtido. Sip tropical juices while discovering the cultural stories behind these favorite dishes. Then step inside the Carambola Chocolate Factory for a fascinating bean-to-bar experience, learning how locally grown cacao is transformed into fine chocolate and sampling signature island-inspired creations. Finally, become a chocolatier yourself as you create, decorate, and wrap your own mini chocolate bar to take home, followed by time to browse local sweets, coffee, crafts, and souvenirs at the Taste of Roatán boutique.

Note: This approximately 2½-hour excursion includes about 1½ hours at the venue, plus approximately 20–30 minutes of transportation each way between the ship and the Carambola Chocolate Factory. The venue features flat terrain with no steps, indoor and outdoor areas, and complimentary restroom facilities. Included are round-trip transportation, a tropical welcome drink, Honduran street-food tasting plate, tropical juice tasting, guided chocolate factory experience, chocolate samples, a make-your-own mini chocolate bar activity, and bottled water. The experience is available in English and Spanish, subject to guide availability.
