When we think of celebrating the holidays, we usually think of family gatherings, crowded shopping malls, and getting together for copious amounts of food and drinks with friends. My husband and I fell for cruising just before we got married. Our second cruise and honeymoon took us to the Caribbean. When we had our first child, we presumed our cruising days were on hold. But when I looked into holiday options when our eldest was 14 months, I realised children are very much included in the cruising experience.

I was anxious to take my first cruise in 2006 when I was a resident in Orlando, Florida. There was a cruise port just about an hour east of where I lived and I had always wanted to try it. I was instantly HOOKED.
